Obituary
Gary "Smitty" Smith, 69, passed away December 7, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born October 6, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bob Smith and Bertie Jones Smith.
Gary retired from the US Postal Service after 28 years. He loved playing golf and watching sports and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.
Gary is preceded in death by daughter Sara Smith, parents Bob and Bertie Smith of Tulsa, OK and sister Linda Smith of Branson, MO. He is survived by wife Lu Ann Smith and son Tyler Smith of the home and son Jeremey Smith of Sand Springs, OK, sister-in-law Linda Smith and granddaughter Kelsey Smith of Tulsa, OK, granddaughter Kyley Smith and great granddaughter Raynie Birdshead of Sand Springs, OK, nephew Justin Smith of OKC, OK.
Gary will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
