HULSIZER, Gearld, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, September 20, 2020,
in Tulsa, Okla. Gearld was born March 26, 1930 to Leona George and Herbert Charles Hulsizer in Avant, Okla. A hardworking man, Gearld was an accountant with Standard Oil/AMOCO/BP and retired in 1986. After enjoying a few years of retirement, he went to work for Moore's Southlawn where he felt called to serve grieving families. He and his family were members of Sheridan Christian Center. Gearld met the love of his life, Mary "Elizabeth" Messmer Hulsizer at a church function in 1947. They were introduced by Elizabeth's best friend, Barbara, and had a double wedding with Barbara and Lattie McDonough in October 1949. Elizabeth and Gearld loved to travel and were married 66 wonderful years before her passing. What a joyful reunion they are having now!

Gearld is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth (2015); son, Kenneth (2014); and granddaughter, Lyndsey Michelle (2010). He is survived by his three sisters, Jane Duncan, Donella Hanover and Connie Cartlidge; son, Keith Allen (Dale Ann) Hulsizer; daughter-in-law, Teresa Hulsizer; nine grandchildren, Rick Baker, Jennifer Stephens, Kyle (Brittany) Hulsizer, Derek (Amber) Kummers, Clinton (Holly) Hulsizer, Jimmy (Nikki) Russell, Jeremy (Nicole) Russell, Jesse Russell, Stacy Russell; twenty great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Laub, Max Bowling, Kade Hulsizer, Beckem Hulsizer, Zaiven Hulsizer, Bentli July, Payne Baker, Keaton Kummers, Dylan Hulsizer, Eliza Hulsizer, Lauren Stephens, Chad Stephens, Tiffany Stephens, Joey Stephens, Jacob Russell, Austin Russell, Reese Russell, Morgan Russell, Jessie Russell and Quinn Russell.

The steadfast patriarch of his family, Gearld will be remembered for a life lived serving the Lord and those around him.

A memorial service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon, Monday, September 28, 2020, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st, Tulsa, Okla., followed by an interment service at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, 12410 N. Yale Ave., Skiatook, Okla. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233.
