Charles Eugene Foster, 69, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019. Gene, as he was known to all, was born on Tuesday, January 24, 1950, in Wagoner, OK, to Homer Eugene Foster and Mary Lou (Eastham) Foster Graham. He was an underground uranium miner, entrepreneur, business owner, professional counselor, and chef at Rogers State University. Gene graduated from RSU with a Master's Degree in Psychology. He was proud to have served in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman HM2/E5 during the Vietnam War. Gene had a keen intellect, quick wit, and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hearing and telling good jokes, and playing pranks on his friends, family, and coworkers. Gene had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles. He was an accomplished musician, loved Blues music, attending Blues concerts, and playing his harmonica.
Gene is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Graham; stepmother, Barbara Foster; daughter, Jalene Olsen; son, Ezra Foster; grandsons, Grady and Russell Olsen; brother, Stan Foster; sisters, Geanette Garcia, Shelly Terrazas, Renee Herrmann, and Serena Schwab; step-sisters, Stephanie Thompson, Jennifer Graham, and Melanie Graham, as well as countless loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Harry Graham. Gene will be greatly missed, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
