Donald (Gene) Laubach, 84, born August 23, 1929, in Okeene, OK, passed away Tuesday,
April 29, 2014 in Tulsa. He retired after 57 years working in the grocery industry for Sam's Thrifty-Wise and Bud's Food Stores.
He was the son of Henry and Molly Laubach and was the youngest of six children (all deceased). Preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Clara Brehm Laubach. Survived by: daughter, Cindy Duck and husband, Gerald; son, Rusty Laubach and wife, Beverly; grandchildren, Casey Duck Garcia, Grant and Christopher Duck, Amanda Laubach Hall, Mitchell, Rebekah, and Tyler Laubach; and six great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. Visitation on Friday, May 2nd, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Moore's Southlawn. Remembrances may be made to the Gene Laubach Memorial Fund, c/o MDUMC 7903 E. 15th, Tulsa, OK 74112.
