Gene Tucker, 86, of Tulsa, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 17, 2022. He was born in Vienna, GA, on Monday, April 13, 1936, to Walter Harold Tucker and Inez (Hampton) Tucker.

Gene was proud to have served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserves, and as an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force. Gene loved his country and was proud to serve faithfully. After his service for our country, Gene worked in computer systems management for Warren Professional Buildings.

Gene was lucky, and was able to marry the love of his life, Marion Ann (Sutton) Tucker on Friday, February 13, 1970, in Valdosta, GA. They spent 52 amazing years together, showing their children and grandchildren the meaning of true love.

Gene was a member of Lynn Lane Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK, where he and Marion were very active and enjoyed attending many activities. He was a member of the Marine Corps League, NRA, and Red Castle Gun Club, and he enjoyed target shooting at Tulsa Firearms.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, William Tucker. He is survived by his wife; sons, Jimmy R. Cook, Jr. of Norman, OK, and Eugene Walter Tucker, II "Todd" of Tulsa, OK; grandson, Devin Tucker and wife, Kristyn of Glenpool, OK; granddaughter, Sarah Ann McMullen and husband, Daniel of Olive, OK; grandchildren, Erricka, Jason, Marissa (special love), J. C., Jacob, Jared, Jenna, and Lucas; many great-grandchildren; sister, Madge Byington and husband, Jonathan Futch of Homerville, GA; and a lifetime of friends.

Memorial Service will be 2 p.m.,Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK. The service will also be webcast on Gene's obituary page at http://moorefuneral.com .
