Obituary

Geoffrey Paul Windsor (Geoff), 50, of Tulsa, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He was born August 11, 1970 in Hialeah, FL to Eugene and Annette Windsor. He and Dona Harrell were married in August of 1998.

Geoff was always looking up. He was an avid star-gazer who loved flying and all things aeronautical, often planning family vacations around shuttle take-offs in Florida. He enjoyed scuba diving, weekends by the pool and entertaining family and friends, but his favorite interest was flying airplanes which he did for over 25 years. He was always there to support his kids at every sporting event and loved attending almost any type of sport - from the Thunder to Drillers to Dallas Cowboys. He was a walking dictionary, thesaurus and almanac who was always ready to support, instruct and help anyone in need. He had a bright smile and a brilliant, infectious sense of humor. Geoff took every opportunity to engage others in word-play and easily shared his quick wit. He was deeply loved by his family, friends and all who had the privilege to know him. The impact he made on us will never be forgotten.

Geoff attended Victory Christian School, graduated from R-S Central High School (N.C.), received a degree in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. An IT specialist for over 20 years, Geoff was the owner and driving force behind Windsor Consulting. He counted his clients as his friends. He was a decorated Senior Airman in the U.S. Air Force and served in Germany, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

He is survived by wife, Dona, of Tulsa; children, Mindy Rhodes (Tory) of Oklahoma City, Geoffrey and Henry of Tulsa; parents, Eugene and Annette Windsor of South Carolina; sisters, Kelley Owen (Chris) and Nellie Windsor; uncle, John Windsor; nieces, Lilli Reed (Bo), Emily Dale; nephew, Andrew Dale (Sallie); and great-niece, Dottie Dale, all of Tulsa, OK; and so many friends and family - most of whom were clients at one time or another.

Donations can be made to the Geoff Windsor Memorial Fund at Arvest Bank.
