GEORGE LEE BENNETT 51, passed away Thursday, October 23, 1963 in
Tulsa, OK.

He was born to Luther Bennett and Betty (Randle) Bennett on August 6, 1963
in Tulsa, OK.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Bennett; one sister, Maryann Bennett
and one brother, Terry Bennett.

George is survived by his mother, Betty Bennett; his wife, Reanna Bennett, Reanna
(Lee) Bennett; two daughters, Lolita Ricks Cristian, Suzanna Bennett; one son, Joshua
Bennett; three sisters, Carolyn Bennett, Tammy Baldwin, Kathy Bennett; four brothers,
Michael Bennett, Luther Lee Bennett, Rowland Bennett and Elijah Bennett.

George was a Christ seeker, family man, entertainer, and hard worker. He accepted
Christ in his early twenties. We all remember waking up to his bible cassette tapes or his
gospel music playing loudly as he got ready for work sometimes he would even sing
to his wife. He was always laughing and joking, sometimes He would take it too far, but
we knew it was all in love. George enjoyed entertaining others and making them happy.
He always enjoyed having company over to watch football and basketball, play dominoes,
cards, and video games, and watch Star Trek with him. We all enjoyed confiding in him.
He was a good listener. If he didn't have the answers he would always encourage us to
turn to God. George loved his wife Reanna. He knew she was in charge and if she said "no
company today," he respected her decision… most timesJ. He always wanted to be home
with his wife and family. We thank God for creating and molding such a lively man.
George's death was unfortunate, but our hope and trust is in the Lord, having faith that
we will see him in heaven one day.
