George Cease, 83, of Coffeyville, died June 25 1974 in a Tulsa hospital. He was born in Conway Springs, and was married to Iona Wienel on December 20, 1909. A 47-year employee of the Mo-Pac Railroad company, he retired as a conductor in 1958.
George was predeceased by his parents, Charles Wesley Cease and Lucy Ann (Springer) Cease.
Survivors include his wife Iona, a daughter Georgia Roller, Tulsa, OK; a son Lewis, San Bernadino, CA and a sister, Goldie Rankin Neodesha, KS. He was preceded in death by sisters, Myrtle Cease Potts, Daisy E. Cease Wilshusen Wichita, brothers, Oscar, Lewis, and Frankie Cease, parents Charles Wesley Cease and Lucy Ann Springer Cease of Conway Springs, KS.
