George Seymour Place passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 10, 2017. He is survived by his spouse of 69 years, Julia Elizabeth, lovingly known as Betty. He was born February 1, 1918 in Green Island, NY. He served in the U. S. Naval Service from November 1935 - March 1946. He retired from Unisys where he worked as a service technician & installed the very first computer in Tulsa. George was a generous supporter of SPCA, Meals on Wheels & St. Luke's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to these organizations.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
