George Andrew Welch Jr
1939 – 2015
George was born September 23rd, 1939 in Muldrow Oklahoma, the oldest son of Margaret and George Welch.
He married Sheryal Jean Hixson and together they have four children and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his younger brother Joe and both parents.
George retired from American Airlines after 37 years of service.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church – Tulsa and enjoyed his beloved Carpenters Sunday School class and his years working with mission and Habitat for Humanity projects. He will be so missed by friends and family; we loved him.
Visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at First United Methodist Church-Tulsa. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
