Obituary

Biggs, Georgia Lucille King, 93, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 in Broken Arrow, OK. Georgia was born August 13, 1925 to George W. and Mary Lucille King in Tulsa, OK. A lifelong Tulsan, she married Ted L. Biggs on October 1, 1944 and was married 69 years, 3 months until his passing.

She was a charter member of Southside Christian Church where she took an active part. She joined Eastside Christian in 1955 and served in many capacities in the church such as Vacation Bible School, Youth Sponsor, served as Deaconess, office in Friendly Couples Class several times, helped several years with church garage sales, and in many prayer groups or years. She worked at Rotary Luncheons for years, Meals on Wheels volunteer, Hillcrest Auxiliary (coordinator of information desks), Candy Striper Leader.

She coached girls softball, managed little league baseball teams, and was a brownie and cub scout leader. She loved to cook, especially family dinners; loved card games (in a pitch club several years); loved Scrabble, old movies and crossword puzzles, Sudoku games; and was an avid reader. Her many hobbies included: Swimming, fishing, gardening, camping, biking, traveling (especially on cruises with children), and sea shelling in Florida at Captiva and Sanibel Islands.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted L. Biggs; daughter, Mary Ella Marsellis in 2014. She is survived by her children, Wilma G. Hillhouse (Gene); Ted L. Biggs, Jr. (Judy); grandchildren, Robert Lawrence Marsellis (Annie), Cheryl Wright (Aaron), Kristy Snider (James, Monica Cox (Bradley), Laura Buenzow (Jim), Melissa Wilkins (Dave), and Jeffrey Hillhouse; great-grandchildren, Kristina Moreland, Sydney Andress (Teddy Andress, III), Aubrey Marsellis, Tiffany Jessie, Frankie Jessie, JaLeigh Snider, Allison Buenzow, Brecken Wilkins, Kodiak Cox, and Liberty Cox; great-great grandchild, Coltan Moreland; step grandchildren, Cami Cook (Jeff) and Kevin Hillhouse; step great-grandchildren, Zachary Mavis, Grant Cook, Kael Cook; Sister, Pat Warfield; several nieces and nephews; several cousins.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
