Georgia Kathleen "Kathy" Walker 79 passed away Friday, September 12, 2014
In Tulsa , Oklahoma
Kathy was born to J.L. Jennings and Mary Ellen (Jenkins) Jennings on April 27, 1935
in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Kathy went to school in many different places going where her father was employed at different
newspapers including, Lawton, Ok., Miami, Ok., Santa Fe, NM, and graduated from
Bartlesville High School in 1953. Kathy attended OU for a short time where she was in the
Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Kathy met Chad Walker on a blind date and they were married in 1954.
From that marriage came 2 sons Ted and Don. Kathy was very active in both of her boys lives
Cub Scouts, Pee Wee Baseball, PTA, and also Maple Ridge Neighborhood Association, In 1970
She went to work for the Honeywell Corp. in Houston as a purchaser and after 14 years of service
there, she moved to Scottsdale, Az. to care for her mom, after her moms passing she moved back to
Tulsa to be close to her sons and their new families. In returning to Tulsa she received her Real Estate
License with Merrill Lynch where she worked until present day,
She is survived by her two sons, two brothers John and Ed Jennings, 4 grandchildren and 5
Great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19, at 1:00 PM
