Gerald Dean Bushyhead passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 74.
Gerald was born on April 13, 1941 in Jay, OK, the son of the late Gordon Bushyhead and Fannie Harris. He attended Stanley Schools, Allison Junior High and West High School in Wichita, KS. Gerald married Patricia Doramus on August 15, 1958 in Wichita, KS. He retired from Aerospace Industry after 44 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Norman Bushyhead.
Gerald is survived by his wife Patricia of the home; one daughter, Pam Bushyhead of Miami, OK and her husband Monty Franks; three sons: Dennis Bushyhead and his wife Debbie of Chouteau, OK, Dave Bushyhead and his wife Robin of Skiatook, OK and Mike Bushyhead and his wife Kendra of Tulsa; two sisters, Barbara Harshberger of Wichita, KS and Marilyn Kindsvatter and her husband Kent of Wichita, KS; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Duffield Cemetery in Jay, OK on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Matt Franks officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, OK 74145.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Locust Grove First Methodist Church.
