Gerald "Jerry" Hamilton, Sr., 88, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was born on Thursday, May 31, 1934, in Missouri, to Troy Hamilton and Anna (Griffith) Foster. Jerry was an excellent business man and enjoyed running his company, Hamilton Construction, a new home construction company, until he retired. Jerry married Doris Norton, on Thursday, February 1, 1990, in Bentonville, Arkansas, and they spent 33 years together raising their sons, traveling, enjoying life, and going to casinos. Family and friends will tell you that Jerry was "just a really nice person," and "family man" and enjoyed spending time with, and taking care of his family, his 5-acre homestead, and the family German Shepherds.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Doris; his sons, Joe Hamilton and wife, Jan of Tulsa, OK, and Larry Hamilton of Tulsa, OK; brother, Lee Hamilton and wife, Mindy of Mannford, OK; half brother, Kenny Hamilton and wife, Sue of Mannford, OK, and half brother, Johnny Buchanan and wife, Joy of Little Rock, AR; daughter-in-law, Marcia Hamilton of California; step-daughter-in-law, Jacque Badley of Tulsa, OK; Seven grandchildren, Five great grandchildren and a lifetime of friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Charolette Ann Hamilton; sons, Gary Hamilton and Barry Hamilton; step-son, Doug Badley; grandson, Dillon Hamilton; brothers, Cecil Hamilton and Troy Hamilton; and sister, Midge.
