Gerald John (Jerry) Pell, age 81 was born October 5, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. He passed away June 25, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he lived from a young age, due to complications of congestive heart failure and kidney disease.

After graduating from Will Rogers High School in 1960, he enlisted in the Army in November 1960 and was stationed at Fort Benning Georgia. He proudly served until November 1963. While stationed in Georgia he met the love of his life and best friend, Eva Hood. They were married on November 24, 1963 and remained married for 53 years until Eva passed away in 2017.

Jerry worked very hard to provide for his family as a machinist for McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. He eventually retired from Boeing after a combined 30 years of employment. He never met a stranger and made many friends. He had an amazing sense of humor and was held in high regard by everyone he met. He was always kind and caring, and was always helping those in need, both human and animal.

He is survived by his three children: daughter Mary Antoinina Pell and two sons, Theodore John Pell and William Frederick Pell. He loved his kids unconditionally. He also leaves behind his two dogs, Evie and Panda, who were shown everyday how much he cared for them. He is also survived by a sister Barbara Monica Hawk and a brother William Joseph Pell as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore William Pell and Antoinette Theresa Pell and a sister Dolores Monica Hallock.

Visitation 11AM-2PM, Friday, June 30, 2023 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK followed by a 2:00 P.M., Funeral Service in Southlawn Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 South Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
