Obituary
Geraldine "Gerry" Gassaway, 89, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 9, 2018. Gerry was born in Milburn, Oklahoma on May 27, 1928.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Graham of Tulsa; her son Mark and daughter-in-law Becky Gassaway of Tulsa; granddaughters Sarah Galpern Via, Erin Galpern, Claire Galpern, Allie Gassaway and Laura Gassaway; beloved nieces and nephew from the Gassaway and Phillips families.
Gerry graduated from Tulsa Central High School with the class of 1948. She worked as a Title Analyst for Standard Oil of Indiana in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Atlantic Richfield Corporation in Dallas, Texas as Director of their Title Analyst Division.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, 29th and Yale in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Spring Creek Church of Christ in Plano, TX
The family would like to thank Oklahoma Methodist Manor, Seasons Hospice, and Aberdeen Heights staff for their dedication and loving care of Gerry.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her memory to: Village Ministries International, 401 W. Vandament Ave, Suite 101, Yukon, OK 73099-4654 or DaySpring Villa, P. O. Box 1588, Sand Springs, OK 74063.
