Obituary

Linker, Gerry Ann, 78, died Thursday, January 8, 2015. Gerry
was born in Neosho, Mo, April 5, 1936 to Charles Bailey & Anna
Christine (McQuality) Brown. She was a 1953 graduate of Will
Rogers High School. She attended the University of Tulsa and
Graduated from Oklahoma University with her degree in
Business Education. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and
was a Drum Majorette at Rogers High School.
She married Russell Linker, August 11, 1956 and after graduation Gerry
taught business in several different schools as well as taught art privately
to students. She was an acclaimed artist herself.
She was a featured artist and instructor for many years at Triangle in
Tulsa. She painted in watercolor and oils. She and her husband were
members of Harvard Avenue Christian Church.
Gerry is survived by her husband, Russell R. Linker II., son:
Russell R. "Rusty" Linker III, his partner, Paul Salter, Tulsa, OK.,
Daughter: Dana L. Linker, her partner, Adria Thompson, Flint, MI., son:
Rick R. Linker, his wife, Kate Macie, Richmond, VA; niece: Christie
Livingston, Disney, OK. She will be missed by her family as well as her
Beloved pets: Bridgett & Barney.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Tulsa SPCA in her name.
Visitation for Gerry will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 at
Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Service 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015,
