Gerry Joan Taylor - March 17, 1935 to February 16, 2024
Gerry was born on March 17, 1935, at home near Ketchum, Oklahoma, and passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She grew up in Northeastern Oklahoma but lived and worked in Tulsa for many years.
Gerry was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Howe, and son, James Criswell; brothers Gerald and Richard Satterwhite; and husband, Sam. She is survived by brother, Larry Satterwhite; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family was the center of Gerry's life. She enjoyed sharing meals, sailing, photography, square dancing, traveling, and playing cards. Gerry had ten green thumbs growing beautiful plants, flowers, and gardens. She was a talented seamstress, master quiltmaker, and crochet artist. Many friends and relatives were fortunate to be gifted with her handmade quilts and crafts. Gerry's pleasant personality was another gift to all and she will be greatly missed.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma, under the direction of Moore Funeral Homes.
