Obituary
Gilbert M. Rill, 80, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. He was born Oct. 16, 1936, in Tulsa to Noel and Velma Green Rill.
A Korean War Army veteran, he was a retired civil engineer from the Mohawk Water Treatment Plant in Tulsa. Mr. Rill was a member of Boston Ave. United Methodist Church where he had also been employed after retirement from the treatment plant. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and gardening. He was married to the former Beverly S. Barkalow and she survives him.
Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by 2 brothers, Clyde and Mack Rill.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffery D. Rill and his wife Nancy; a daughter, Jill Gist and her husband Adam; 2 grandsons, Graham Gist and Gentry Byard; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services and interment will be private.
