Ginger Self, 80, passed away Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born August 3rd, 1938 in Cherry Creek, New York to Stanley and Emma (Merrill) Lock. Ginger was a beautician, who operated her own beauty shop, as well as a homemaker. She was a member of Rose Lawn Missionary Baptist Church where she loved playing the piano and singing. She served as a clerk and secretary for many years.
She enjoyed fishing and painting and she loved animals. Most of all Ginger loved her family and her Savior.
She is survived by her husband, Doyce Self; sons, Norris (Wanda) Self, Russell (Tammy) Self; daughter, Tammie Terry; brothers, Gordon Lock and Richard Lock; grandchildren, Kimber, Nathan, Hannah, Leah, Emily, Callie; great-grandchildren, Michael, Allyssa, Peyton, Clarabeth, Eden, Esther, Gideon, Logan.
Visitation will be 5-7P.M., Thursday, March 7th, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be 10A.M. Friday, March 8th, 2019 at Rose Lawn Missionary Baptist Church, 6610 E Latimer Pl, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moore's Southlawn Chapel 918-663-2233
