Gisela graced this world with her presence on April 4, 1942 in Giessen, Germany. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mom, oma and dog mom. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, and spending time with family and friends.
Gisela left this world on August 20, 2024 at 2:10AM surrounded by loved ones.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Robert Mearns, their dog Hydi and her 2 daughters Linda Mearns and Petra Schade. Grandchildren Katharina (Michael) Volk, Tabitha (Blake) Downs and Karin Reigle (Chip Hoosier) and great-grandchildren Ava Sweat and Jayce Downs. She is also survived by her father Hans Klein, her brother Hans-Jurgen (Claudia) Klein and nephew Hans Christian.
She is preceded in death by her mother Elfriede Klein and many beloved dogs.
