Gladys Cleo Beasley, 96, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She was born to James Marion and Della (Ledbetter) Crow on March 25th, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Gladys had many things she loved in her life, first and foremost was her family. She and her husband, Alvin, loved to travel, listen to music and dance in their younger days. They attended church and would always sing whenever called on. Gladys loved going to bingo and was always very lucky, it didn't bother her and Alvin if they traveled a long distance to go to a game. She also loved to cook, raise flowers and her pets, which included dogs, ducks, racoons and a pigeon named "Koo" because of the sound it would make when Gladys talked to it.
In her declining years as she became home bound, she enjoyed listening to music on her tape recorder and being with family on the holidays, especially the 4th of July and Christmas. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, James and Della; husband, Alvin Beasley; children, Vernon Beasley and Geneive Serella Beasley; siblings, Rose Conway, Orville Crow, Lorene Wallace, Bud Crow, Tom Crow, Harrold Crow and Lucille Webster.
She is survived by sons: Clifton Beasley, Herman Beasley and wife Joyce and Dewight Beasley and wife Pam; daughter in law: Jessie Beasley; grandchildren: Harla Kay Beasley, Dean Beasley, Leon Beasley, Amy Dawn Cirillo, Scott Beasley, Rebecca Beasley Hunter, Robert Beasley, Tony Beasley, Dustin Beasley and William Beasley; 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Ivy Sellers and Stella Hall.
