Gladys Imogene Jones was called to heaven the evening of April 8th, 2020. She was born in Oklahoma and lived most of her blessed life in Tulsa. She loved the Lord and spent most Sundays with her Baptist Church and friends in her earlier years. She worked as a planner at Boeing for 25 years and retired around 1992. After retirement she spent most of her time with her family and enjoyed hobbies such as ceramics, gardening, crocheting, sewing, reading books, and much more. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Ladies Auxiliary. Her greatest accomplishment was being a caring, loving, and giving mother and grandmother.
Imogene survived her parents, Frank and Elsie Tate; son Leon Holloway; as well as several siblings. She is survived by her daughter Juanita Bartlett and son-in-law Jeffrey Bartlett of Owasso; sister Marie Epperson of New Mexico; two granddaughters, Lori Bergman and Angela Porter, both of Tulsa; and other family members.
Heaven was blessed with another beautiful angel.
