MARTIN, Gladys L., 84, of Ada, OK, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at her residence. Born January 15, 1930 in Grannis, AR to Everett G. and Essie (McDonald) Smelser.
She graduated from Southern Arkansas University College of Education. She married Lloyd L. Martin on November 19, 1947 in Grannis, AR.
Preceded in death by her husband in July, 2004. Survived by sons, Lloyd Martin of Ridgefield, WA, and Ron Martin of Grants Pass, OR; daughters, Gwen Jackson of Tulsa, OK, Karen Rogers of Ada, Ok, and Loretta Sherman of Tulsa, OK; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Delma Cardaman of Denver, CO and Floy Richardson of Arkansas; brother, Roger Smelser of Talihina, OK.
