Obituary

Glen (Toby) Joseph Tobias passed into the loving arms of Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Sat., August 28, 2021in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Glen was born to Emmett and Josephine Tobias on December 30, 1929 in River Falls, Wisconsin. He had 5 brothers and sisters; Clair, Leona, James, Dorie, Connie.

After years of athletic participation at Ellsworth High School in football, basketball, and baseball Glen enlisted in the United States Air Force where he continued to show his athletic gifts within the Air Force travelling teams. Upon completion of his military service he went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin at Stout: Menominee, Wisconsin. Glen joined International Harvester Co. in Minneapolis, Minnesota and spent some years working in the international division of their world headquarters in Chicago, in product development and as corporate fleet manager and fleet sales.

In December,1975 he married Sally Sue Tenney Nongard. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1984 where he was district manager for fleet sales.

Glen is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sally Sue and his sons Michael Tobias, Charles Tobias, Ted Tobias and daughter Amy Tobias; step children: Elisabeth Whittington, Richard Nongard, and Juliet Greene. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service for immediate family members will
be held at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery on October 8, 2021.
