Obituary

Glenna Mae Larkin Pickel was born February 27, 1926 to Frank Edwin and Alice Mae (Miller) Larkin in Altoona, KS. She was raised in Ponca City, OK along with her sisters Dorothy and Nadine. Glenna and her sisters shared a very special bond. Glenna fell in love and married Lee Pickel on December 4, 1945. Lee and Glenna raised their two daughters, Alice Kathleen and Nancy Marie in Ohio where they were active members of the Withamsville Church of Christ.

Lee and Glenna returned to Oklahoma in the early 1980's. They spent many years attending the Garnett Church of Christ and most recently were members of Crosstown Church of Christ. In 1997, Glenna retired from her career as an administrative assistant. Glenna and Lee spent the last of their 63 year marriage enjoying each other in retirement - especially their trips with Lee's siblings and spending time with family.
