RAWLINGS, Gloria Anne Gannaway was born on November 4, 1925 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the age of 89. Gloria was born in Oklahoma City to Virgil and Irma Gannaway of Tuttle, OK. Gloria graduated from Tuttle High School and Oklahoma A&M University with a degree in Nutritional Science.
She married Cecil "Tuck" Rawlings on October 29, 1948 in Tuttle and moved to Los Angeles, CA where she was a registered Dietician.
Gloria had three daughters born to her in California. Later she and her husband moved to Tulsa, OK with his job with Rockwell International and Gloria worked for a short time as a Dietician at Hillcrest Hospital.
Upon her husband's death in 1980, Gloria moved to Norman, OK where she was active in her church and the Christians Women's Club. The last three years of her life were spent at Town Village Community in Tulsa.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Irma Gannaway, and her husband, Tuck Rawlings. Gloria is survived by three daughters, Deann Ralston of Tulsa, OK, Denise Kueny and husband, Bob of Norman, OK, and Susan Phillips and husband, Eric of Tulsa, OK; her brother Colonel Jay Theodore Gannaway USAF Retired and his wife, Glenda of Ogden, UT; ten grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Gloria will be buried in Tuttle, OK on November 17. There will be viewing at First United Methodist Church~Tuttle at 10:00 AM and service to follow at 11:00 A.M.
