Gloria Jean Barbee Whitaker was born on August 12, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away peacefully on November 27, 2018 in Portland, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Regina Barbee, and sister Tena Marie Barbee.

She is survived by son Ryan and wife Allison Whitaker of Tulsa Oklahoma, and daughter Barbe Whitaker and husband Jake Hunt of Bixby, Oklahoma. She is also survived by a sister, Linda Barbee of Portland, Oregon. She had three grandchildren, Riley and Reese Whitaker and Chapman Hunt.

She earned an Associates degree in Nursing and was a Registered Nurse at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Her passions were cooking, tennis, biking, and skiing. Her greatest loves were her family and her dogs, Macho and Sunshine.
