On the morning of June 29th, 2024, Mrs. Goldia McGinnis's beautiful soul peacefully left this earth. After 103 years, 7 months, and 21 days of being a radiant source of love and kindness to those around her, may she rest in peace. "Ms. Goldia" (as she was lovingly called) was born in rural Oklahoma in 1920 to the Cronin family, and her life was an example of how we can choose to always be kind and compassionate towards others.

After going on a charming first date, playing tennis with Joe McGinnis, Ms. Goldia would go on to support a beautiful 60+ year marriage. She brought joy to her home, friends, and family, and her glowing positivity brought out the best in people. Even after turning 90, Ms. Goldia would help others move about the retirement community, always wanting to do more for those around her.

We will miss her pecan pies at Thanksgiving, her stories about Tulsa throughout the years, her mastery of Wii Bowling, and the way she would smile and move to catchy Panic at the Disco tracks on the way to pick up prescriptions.

Ms. Goldia is survived by her sister Naomi, and her wonderful nieces and nephews, as well her longtime friend Tutu.

Ms. Goldia McGinnis will be buried at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK alongside her loving husband Joe McGinnis on July 3rd, 2024, with services at 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel
