Gregory James Hiseley went to be with the Lord on June 25th, 2025, while surrounded by friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Joann Renee Hiseley, and his six children and their spouses, who are as follows: Joseph Hiseley and wife Natasha, Jennifer Livingston, Benjamin Hiseley and wife Angie, Britney Hiseley and husband Edward, Shaina Duwel and husband Eric, and Sophia Hiseley.
From his children, Greg is survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by both parents, James Bert Hiseley and Wilma Nell McClure, as well as two siblings, Rhonda Tunnell and Troy Hiseley.
Greg's childhood lent many inspiring and entertaining tales that were passed on to, and are now cherished by, his loved ones. From his active and adventurous teenage years to young adulthood, Greg was a loyal fixture to friends and family alike, and lifelong bonds and relationships catered to the great amount of people that know him, love him, and celebrate the extraordinary life he had and the legacy he leaves behind.
Once his path led him to Joann, they married and went on to begin their own ever-growing family. Upon that same path, God provided blessing after blessing, bestowed in the likes of His safety and generosity from churches and the good hearts that fill them. With blessings come trials, and Greg both knew and taught that God Gives, and God Wins. With every hard-fought battle he faced, he put his faith in the Lord and prayed for all to do the same. It's that same undying faith and his salvation that has now brought him, a soldier of God, through the gates of Heaven.
Greg spent his life providing for his family and working for the Kingdom of God. No hungry mouth went unfed in his presence, no weary heart remained heavy, and no lost soul left without being directed toward the guidance and grace of God. Greg spent his retirement working harder than ever to preach the gospel to all he could, and touched the lives of many in his valiant endeavors.
Greg will be remembered for his laughter, his love and loyalty, and above all for every heart he touched with his fire for Christ.
God has won his final battle for him, and called him home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that monetary donations be sent to Mound Valley Lighthouse Church of Kansas in Greg's honor.
