Gregory Stump passed away peacefully at home Monday, February 3, 2014, in Tulsa, OK. Born November 11, 1956, to Joe and Mary (Thompson) Stump in Stillwater, OK, Greg was baptized as an infant at First Methodist Church in Stillwater and confirmed at age 13. Greg graduated from C.E. Donart High School in Stillwater in 1975 and attended Northeastern Oklahoma College on a wrestling scholarship, before graduating from Oklahoma State University. At OSU, Greg was active in Beta Theta Pi fraternity, where he made friends with whom he remained close for life. After a long career with Memorex/Telex in Tulsa and Houston, Greg and family returned to Tulsa, where he was a sales manager with Cisco Systems before retirement. Watching Jake play sports and Adley launch her music career were Greg's greatest joys. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Joe Stump and brother David Stump. He is survived by his wife Terri Stump and children Adley Stump (Nashville) and Jake Stump (Stillwater); mother, Mary McLaughlin (husband Chuck); brother, Ronnie Stump (wife Karen); sisters-in-law Carmen Burch (Santa Fe, NM) and Jean Noonan (Kensington, MD).
