Obituary
Dr. Gwen Lee Humphrey, of Tulsa, was born on December 7, 1934 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and passed away at Oklahoma Methodist Manor on March 15, 2019 at the age of 84.
Dr. Humphrey was a teacher, administrator and leader in Tulsa Public Schools for 40 years as well as filling her life with all kinds of benevolent and enriching service to the Tulsa community. Dr. Humphrey was dedicated to the Oklahoma Educational Memorial Trust Foundation serving as Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee. She volunteered for 19 years at St. John Hospital serving, at one point, as their Auxiliary President.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Marie (Martin) Humphrey, her father, Paul J. Humphrey, and beloved friend, Roy James Lewis.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Memorial Park Chapel, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
