Hall Ketchum, M.D., born October 20, 1920 in Muskegon, MI. to Bert Ketchum & Helen Hope Hall Ketchum. Hall graduated from Muskegon Heights High School, President of the Senior Class, Graduate Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, President Wrangler-Alpha Delta Phi Senior Year, Graduate of Northwestern Univ. Medical School, B.M. & M.D. in Chicago, Il. Member of Nu Sigma Nu Medical Fraternity. He interned at St. Luke?s Hospital in Chicago, Il. Held residencies in Chicago Maternity Center and Wesley Memorial Hospital. While at Chicago Maternity Center, helped oversee some 8000 home births in Chicago tenements. He was a Captain of the U.S. Army Medical Corps., Base flight surgeon, San Bernardino Ca., Air Material Area.
Hall married Margaret Arlene Danielson of Muskegon, MI. on Dec. 18, 1943. He practiced obstetrics & gynecology in Tulsa, 1952 to 1986. Member of Tulsa County Medical Society, Ok. Medical Assoc., Fellow American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Fellow American College of Surgeons, Fellow Tulsa Co. OBGYN Society, President Fitzgerald Medical Travel Club in Chicago, Member Medical-Executive Staff, St John and St. Francis Hospitals, Tulsa. Founding Member Tulsa OBGYN Society, President Medical-Dental Staffs St Francis 1973 ? 1974. Volunteered to prepare Income Tax Returns for low income Seniors for 10 Years. Held private pilot license with instrument rating, member Tulsa Hanger of Quiet Birdmen.
After retiring in 1986, Hall and Margaret began their extensive travel with friends flying their private aircraft; golf and fishing for the men; shopping and sightseeing for the ladies. Extensive genealogy studies led them to renew ties to his English cousins, visiting them in the Peak district and hosting their visit to the USA. These life facts cannot fully express the reality of who this man was as a doctor, husband, father and friend. We all love you and will miss you so much. You will be with us forever.
