Hannah Louise Long, 71 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Tulsa. She was born February 21, 1943 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma the daughter of Jack and Stephanie Beatrice Partridge Darby.
Hannah Louise Long work for Catoosa Public Schools for 37+ years as a secretary of Special Education and had a true passion for working with handicapped children. She loved to go shopping and especially shopping in Branson, Missouri at the outlet malls with her granddaughter, Kaci Jones. She loved spending quality time with Kaci, Stephen and her kids and she really enjoyed going out to eat at different places. She also enjoyed the time she got to spend with her other grandchildren. She loved family time more than anything else.
Hannah Louise is survived by one daughter, Sherri M. Long, Blevins and husband Stephen of Merritt Island, Florida; two sons, Kelly Ray Long of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Marc Randall Long of Catoosa, Oklahoma; one sister, Debbie Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother; Jack Darby, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Granddaughters Kaci Jones and husband Stephen of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Kelsey Layton of Missouri, and Lexi Long of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Grandsons, Stephen Ray of Missouri and "Master" Marcus Eric Long of Catoosa, Oklahoma; Great-Grandchildren, Kristan, Justan, and Jaxtan Jones and Landon and Lexi Layton; Great-Great Granddaughter, Hannah Kaci Michele, aka. "My Angel"; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray M. Long in April of 2012 and her parents.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015 with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Moore's Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Catoosa Activity Center, 2000 S. Cherokee, Catoosa, Oklahoma 74015 with Mr. Dale Schultz and Mr. Austin Battles officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
