Obituary

HANNA, Harold Edwin, 85, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 30, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born January 21, 1928 in Kansas City, KS. He attended Central High School and is a graduate of the Oklahoma Military Academy. He graduated from the University of Denver where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was owner of Hanna Lumber Company and was a member of Y.P.O., The Oklahoma Lumbermen Association, Tulsa Homebuilders Association, and the Rotary Club.

Ed was an avid boater and loved spending time with his family and friends at Grand Lake. He was a member of the Tulsa Club and Southern Hills Country Club. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Terry Gilroy Hanna; and infant son. Ed is survived by his wife, Timmie; and his four children, Mark Hanna, Lori Renken (Mark) of St. Charles, MO, Beth Latham (Ben) of Tulsa, Kit Waychoff (Jeff) of Coppell, TX, and daughter-in-law, Lesa Hanna; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family is especially grateful for the care and concern shown by Dr. Jim Guerin and the wonderful Hospice nurse, Pat Stevens and staff. Ed and Timmie were devoted supporters and regularly attended performances at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.
