Harry O. Parker was born in Tulsa, OK on June 7th, 1942, and passed away on November 19th at the age of 79. He was preceded by his father Leonard Olenn Parker, his mother Doris Louise Parker, and his brother George Parker. He is succeeded by his wife Linda Parker, sons Brian Parker (Kristia wife), Paul Parker (Vivian wife), his stepchildren Natalie Bonham (Justin husband), and Katie Sanders. His grandchildren CJ, Clay, Elijah, and Jake carry on his legacy in life.
Harry served in the military from July 1962 until August 1966, after completing his tour of duty and being discharged with honor. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree at OSU Harry joined the Tulsa Police Department from September of 1972 until he retired in February 1998, serving 25 years on the force.
Harry was an avid woodworker, modeler and there was no such thing as a day where coffee was not consumed. He enjoyed carpentry and loved discussing anything related to woodworking. At any given moment he had about two or three model projects that he was working on, ranging from model cars to the USS Constitution.
Memorial service will be 12:30 P.M., Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Road, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
