Leon was born September 7, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to Hilda (Hall) and Harvey Lucien Bolen.
He is survived by his wife Cindy, his children Becky and Benny, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and Leon's sister Ann Taylor and brother Doug Bolen. Leon's son Bucky died in 2014.
Leon graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1965, the first student in Tulsa Public Schools' work-study program for printing.
For 43 years Leon ran BolenInk, a graphic arts company. His heart was for service and BolenInk is a respected and successful company still.
Leon was full of love- love for Cindy, love for life, love for his work (World's Greatest Delivery Boy) and love of his family.
Despite much pain (he was proud of weaning himself off of opioids), Leon was upbeat, sunshiny, optimistic and a positive influence on everyone he met. He knew how to make each person feel special. He was wonderfully generous, treating customers and suppliers alike to the occasional ice cream treats or big bags of M&Ms.
He was one-of-a-kind after whom they broke the mold.
And in closing, to honor his wishes, we say, "Leon died. Suburban for sale."
