Hazel "Tots" Platten, 88, of Broken Arrow, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 7, 2019. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. She was born March 29, 1930 in Hugo, OK to Louis Bevan and Nora (Birdwell) Bevan. Tots owned a few small businesses during her life one of which was a coney shop and of course helping Ed with Platten's Photography. She loved to fish and enjoyed taking her friends and family with her on the lake. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Ed Platten; her son, Russ and Judy Platten; her daughters, Karen and Dale Ring and Tina and Larry Farris; her brother, Louis and Leah Bevan; grandchildren, Mike and Sacheen Platten, Tricia and Dennis Gilleland, Angie Platten, Brian and Johanna Ring, Andrea Ring, Chris Farris; great-grandchildren, Preston and Sophia Platten, Braxton, Katelynn, and Kaleb Gilleland, Jeremiah and Evelyn Ring and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stacy Bevan and sisters, Myrtle Bevan and Lillie Bowman. She is remembered for being a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a good aunt and a fabulous friend.
