Hedy Williams, 102, passed on Friday, March 7, 2025, at her residence in Broken Arrow, OK, with her daughter by her side. She was born on Tuesday, June 20, 1922, in Goldmuhl, Germany, to Otto and Marie Ristau. Hedy grew up in the Lutheran church and retired from Tulsa Public Schools as a cafeteria worker. Hedy was an Eastern Star member, enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and always kept a perfect yard. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her family.
Hedy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William F. Williams; and sister, Ellen McIntire.
Hedy is survived by her daughter, Ronni Westmoreland and her life partner, Marvin Easley of Broken Arrow, OK, her daughters, Candy Thompson of Tulsa, OK, , her son, Billy Joe Williams of Owasso, OK; five grandchildren, Billy Blythe and wife Debby, Justin Easley and wife Angela, Shannon Kimberly and husband Rod, Michael Sheldon and partner Greg Sergeant, and Ronald Dean Sheldon; six great-grandchildren, Clay, Lance, Jace, Paige, Abby, and Ryan; one great-great-grandchild, Deacon, godson, Dallas York and a lifetime of friends.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK (918) 622-1155
Celebration Service: 1 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2025,at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
Interment: Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.
