Obituary
CONFER, Helen Brewington Read, 84, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 in
Broken Arrow, OK. Born September 1, 1931 in Prague, OK to James W. and
Pearl (Allembaugh) Brewington. She was a graduate from the illustrious and
esteemed Central High School class of 1949.
Preceded in death by husbands, Bob Sherrill, Warren Arthur Read, and Noel M.
Confer; daughter, Suzanne Sherrill Wood. Survived by two sons, Steven Sherrill
of Tulsa and Christopher Sherrill (Neil Sekhri) of San Francisco; one brother, Bill
Brewington of St. Louis; six granddaughters, Lindsey Wilson (Isaac), Natalie Nesbit
(Aaron), Nicole Newell (Derrick), Sloan Glande (Warren), Baile Wood, Savannah Wood
Chandler (Carly); and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Faith United
Methodist Church, 7431 E. 91st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
