Helen Denner Murrow died peacefully in her sleep May 23, 2013 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her son Douglas Murrow and her husband Dean Murrow. She is survived by her four children: Barbara Hurt, Nancy Ingram, Richard Murrow, and Julie Patterson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 11:00am at St. James United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
