HELEN CLEO SANDERS



Helen Cleo Sanders, born in Tulsa July 7, 1922 to Phyllis M. and Carl C. Johnson. Died May 15, 2013.

Survived by Husband, Jack C. Sanders, grandson Jeffrey Sanders and nieces and nephews Robert and John Williams, David, Donald, and John Sanders, Diane Sanders Innes, Suzanne Sanders Rickerts, and LaRae Sanders, Brother-in-law R. l. Williams. Predeceased by son, Gary Sanders.

Following graduation from Tulsa Central High School, Helen did Secretarial work for several employers, including the Oklahoma Senate.

She was a loyal and faithful member of First Christian Church

of Tulsa, where she served as an Elder, Sunday School Teacher, and member of the Double Ring Class. Helen also volunteered as a docent at Philbrook Art Museum and was active in political activities in her community.

Memorial Services scheduled for 2 pm Friday, May 17, in the Sanctuary of First Christian.
