Helen Anna Spielmann, 100 year old "Golden Okie", Ramona, Oklahoma resident, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born May 17, 1924, to Maria (Devan) Pekarek and Samuel Pekarek in Queens, New York. Helen Pekarek and Henry Spielmann, Jr. were married August 29, 1942, in Glendale, New York. She stayed busy with their four children and her church activities. She was the oldest member of Our Savior Lutheran Tulsa. She was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, John Spielmann and brother, Rudy Pekarek. She is survived by her three children; Henry Spielmann III, his spouse, Denise of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nancy Shirk, her spouse, Henry of Bonita Springs, Florida, Diane Hargrove, her spouse, Randy of Adair, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
