Helen Lucille Wieczorek, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Guthrie, OK. She was born Helen Lucille Horton in Hiwasse, AR November 30, 1923. She graduated from Gravette, AR high school and moved to Tulsa, OK, graduating from Draughan's Business College during World War II. After graduation she worked at Douglas Aircraft aiding our war efforts when she met Paul Wieczorek, with whom she would marry and spend a lifetime. Helen was a dedicated mother involved in all of her two sons education and activities, always volunteering and becoming involved in parental organizations promoting children's education and social development. Helen was most proud of her work as a secretary at Warren Petroleum which later became Gulf Oil. In addition to her work, she loved to bowl, square dance, travel and spend time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles and her husband, Paul. She is survived by her sons, John Wieczorek and his wife Ann of Tulsa, Scott Wieczorek and his wife Cindy of Oklahoma City, grandchildren Sophie, Lucy, Alex Ann, Taylor and Hannah and her great grandchild, Jillian.
