Herbert William Bortzfield, 62, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Friday, January 16, 1976, in Tulsa, OK. He was born on Wednesday, March 19, 1913, in Deering, North Dakota to William Gilbert Bortzfield and Bessie Leoral (McKinney) Bortzfield. Herbert was proud to have served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, J. Mildred (Hamilton) Bortzfield of the home; daughter, Mrs. Tim "Carol" Vaughan of Moore, OK; 2 grandchildren, David Michael Vaughan, and Stephen Ross Vaughan; 3 brothers, Elmer Bortzfield of Jenks, OK, Marshall Bortzfield of Gladewater, TX, and Everett Bortzfield of Crane, TX; mother, Mrs. Bessie Bortzfield of Jenks, OK; and sister-in-law, Alice Hamilton.
