Herbert Wayne "Herb" Murphy was born September 27, 1950 in Walnut Creek, California to Herbert and Louise Murphy.
He worked for many years with Ramsey Wench and retired as a welder in 2010. He had a great love for the outdoors, fishing, playing pool, camping and his grandkids and great grandson.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Joseph Murphy and his mother Louise Francis Murphy. He is survived by his longtime companion; Catherine Little, daughters: Eva Louise Shedrick, Pam McGill and Christine Denise Seitz; brother, Frank Murphy, Sr.; 4 grandchildren: Ashley Rose, Victoria, Savanna and Joey; 1 great grandson, Xyler; and 3 nephews: Frank, Jr., Michael & Ronald.
Viewing will be held 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Moore's Rosewood Chapel.
