Obituary

Herman Lee "Red" Cook, born January 21, 1927 in St Louis, Missouri to William Claude and Mary Bessie (Egbert) Cook, passed away May 24, 2017 at the age of 90.

Herman was an accomplished auto mechanic, owning Red Bee Auto, in Tulsa.
In his early childhood he learned to be a boxer and continued when he joined the Marines. After his discharge he met and married Mary Helen Collier and was married for sixty-four years with sons: Ron and John Cook and daughter: VaLinda (Cook) Stout. He was blessed with ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was a very athletic person and loved the challenge of competition.
Red enjoyed racing cars, hunting, bowling (many 300 games), golfing (3 hole in ones) and collecting model cars.

Most importantly, Red was a believer in Jesus Christ as his Savior and member of South Broken Arrow Baptist Church. He is enjoying his new body and home in Heaven with his loved ones that have preceded him in Heaven.
