Hilda Marie (Daldine) Burris, age 99 and 7 months, of Tulsa Passed from this life Saturday May 19, 2018, in Sand Springs.
Hilda was born on October 19, 1918, in Edgerton Ohio to Emil and Marie Edith (Schnelker) Daldine. She married Albert Ray Burris on January 23, 1947. They were married 49 years. Hilda was a widow for 22 years. She was a faithful member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church for 39 years. She was a homemaker, dedicated wife, a loving and caring mother of 5 children, grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of 22 children. Hilda loved sunshine and warm weather. She loved music and dancing, gardening, sewing, and had a great artistic ability.
Hilda is survived by her daughters Caroline (Nicholson) and husband Dale Biby, of Sand Springs, Cassandra and husband Pat Kreeb, of Mannford, Marcy (Barker) and husband Doyel Morrison of Sand Springs, and son Albert Burris Jr. of Tulsa, 13 grandchildren: Christine Miller, Steven Nicholson, John Kreeb and wife Elizabeth, Christopher Kreeb and wife Jesseca Kreeb, Jason Barker and wife Jodie, Justin Barker and wife MaryAnn, Jared Barker and wife April, Joshua Barker and wife Mindy, Matthew, Tyler, Damek, and Devon Morrison and Travis Burris and 22 great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathan, Zachary, and Aidan Miller, Courtnee Nicholson, Hannah, Lucas, Noah, Jacob, Emma, and Stella Kreeb, Justice, Jason, Jaylon, Colby, Breana, Jarek, Tehya, Titus, Mandy and Branson Barker and Alexa Burris and host of other family members.
Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Albert R. Burris and son James Eugene Burris, parents Emil and Marie Daldine, 3 sisters Marjorie Daldine, Edith and husband Joe Sucher, Alice and husband Allen Howes, and a brother Harold Daldine, and a grandson Steven James Nicholson.
She was so loved by many. We will miss her so much and we know we will see her again in eternity.
A rosary will be held 6:30PM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Moore Southlawn Chapel. A funeral mass will be held 11AM, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St Patrick's Catholic Church in Sand Springs, OK. Services are under the direction of Moore Southlawn (918) 663-2233.
