Howard Fenton, 86, passed away on October 19, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a brief illness with cancer. He was born on December 9, 1931 to Howard Thomas and LaVera Drury Fenton.
After graduating in 1950 from Central High School, Howard attended The University of Tulsa for a time and then joined the Air Force serving from 1951-1955. Howard received the highest grade in his class at the F89D Factory Training School conducted at Amarillo Air Force Base, Texas by personnel of Northrup Aircraft, Inc. June 1, 1956 Howard married Evelyn Denton and returned to The University of Tulsa.
Howard worked for several companies before starting Engine Oil Analysis and Second Oil Pinion. While living in St. Charles, Missouri, Howard learned to fly and received a private pilot license. He loved flying and was a co-owner of several aircrafts. Howard loved to fish all our area lakes with friends and family.

Howard had many dogs, caring for and loving each one. His pal, "Max," always joined Howard on Saturday mornings for trips to the airport.
Predeceased by his parents, Howard Thomas and LaVera Drury Fenton and half-sisters, June Cotton and Norma Stout. He is survived by his loving wife for 62 years, Evelyn Fenton; brothers, Drury Fenton and his wife, Penny of Tulsa, Tom Fenton of Brea, California; sister, Nancy Hoyle of Tulsa and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 26, 2018 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 9303 E. 111th Street South, Bixby, OK.
