Ila Frost, 91, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born in Harvard, Illinois February 3, 1932, to George and Clara (Richison) Vest. In 1951, she married Jack Frost who passed away in 2018 after nearly 67 years of marriage.

She is survived by daughters: Debe (Jay) Guerra; Dinah (Robert) Hildebrand; Danae' (Darren) Rumford; and Jill (Ken) Smith. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Heather McCord, Holly McCord, Sarah Guerra, Lauren (Lorne) Hodges, Matt (Amy) McLemore, Angie McLemore, Molly (Renny) Parra, Nancy (Bob) Johnson, Phillip (Laura) Hildebrand, Preston Rumford, Aubrey Rumford, Jake (Caiden) Smith, Jack Smith; and fourteen great grandchildren: Jacob and Zachariah Parra, Blythe McLemore, Ella, Hudson, and Emma McLemore, Kelsey (Edgar) Gaspar, Madeline Hildebrand, Ryan and Reagan Johnson, Elias Govea, Frost and Dottie Hodges, and Fletcher Smith.

Ila was a pioneer for women in the workplace excelling in every field while earning the respect of both male and female colleagues. She began working at age 12 and continued into her late 70's. She instilled kindness and confidence in those she loved. Her quick wit and encouraging attitude will be missed.
